Fleet Command: Which language?
Definitely English!
But I suggest keeping the commands short and significant. No chitchat please.
Even people with minor English skills should understand ‘Warp to’ ‘Jump on contact’ etc. etc.

I agree with Dirk. Before we start making commands in german, just to broadcast them in the fleetmenu again, we should stay at the allround and immediately understandable short-commands in english. We had the chance to try that out, when we met the Astarte in WH-Space and from my point of view, as the fleet-commander, that realy worked out.
Additionaly I think, one factor of misunderstood commands while the fleetroam on sunday was the missing experience of some of us. When I remember the times of war with Reckless and PAR, when there was much to learn for all of us, I just see exact parallels. Those, that will join the Fleet-Roam continuously, will also learn how to react on some commands. Maybe we should introduce a training for those that are willing? In Fact: When, some day, there is the time, the Philosoffen decide to move to a new home in 0.0, we all have to get used to english communication, even if there are Evoke and friends. And I am shure we will make it easily (the communictaion, not 0.0, of course).
Next week-end I would realy prefer to suck dry some cl3 wormholes or at least having some small-scale pvp in them. Maybe that would be a good occasion to try out a Prime-Philo-Mixed-Fleet again?
EDIT: Warum zum Geier wird s.h.u.r.e ausgeblendet? Wegen h.u.r.e?! Oh je... Ich dachte wir sind in einem Forum für 21 Jährige...

Hi
Just like to say after having a talk after roam should sort some things out.Seeing you had more members in fleet then PRIME alliance on this roam,the next roam will be done that will best suit the amount of members in fleet.This was the first roam and like some say things from which I have picked up in game over the years I some times forget not all will work at first.As I have been in quite a few pvp corps/alliances I am used to players knowing most stuff,but of course this was a first joint roam and we can only get better,now I know which things in pvp I am allowed to do from PRIME alliance point of view.As my corp is very small but all my members active by all means will tag along with your FC on next roam to see how you do things.
Must say this was my first FC roam apart from a small 4 man gang and I didnt want to get the fleet killed ,hence knowing when to step back before we took losses etc.

Joined Operations every Sunday, voluntary basis
- Time: Fleet Up 16:30, Start 17:00 (EvE Time)
- Fleet Command: Harper Lewis, LuciferPhil, Baron Vampski2
- Voice: Mumble ( http://mumble.sourceforge.net )
- Voice Data: Server: die-philosoffen.com PW: None needed Port: Standard
- Contact: See Fleet Command
- Tactic: Roaming thru Low Sec, Use of Directional- and Systemscan, Combat Scanner Probes, Fast Travelling ("Hit and Run" ) , Use of (multiple) Scouts
- Victims: Everyone, but we won´t do Gate Camping, Can-Flipping or any "evil" Grieftactics
- Ships: Everything u can fly and can afford to loose
- Language: English (we will try our best )
- We, "Die Philosoffen", usually have a lot of fun during our fleet ops...so, if you r easily offended by drunken mates on voice, maybe out fleet op isn´t the right place for you
